Paris Sunday Skate-World record attempt- June 15, 2008

On june 15th, the organizers of the Paris Sunday Skate will try to establish a new world record in number of participants!!! It's free and beginners are welcome. More details on Roller et Coquillages website (http://www.rollers-coquillages.org/Record-Guinness-Book-2008.html)

Yes the record was achieved!!!
As previous record was set in China with 200 people... Since last sunday, for a "daytime regular rando" the new record is set at 1188 ;-).
This is low, as people forgot to vote (police counted 2000) and weather was not stable.
Last unofficial record in 1999 was about 29000 for the same rando, and 40000 for a special event Paris-Versaille!!!!
Whatever, it's so cool to skate freely in the streets of Paris!!!!! (Worth the 45min of train for me!!! )
