Frame filing

I have Bont aluminium frames for 100 mm wheels. They are actually so precise 100 mm wheel frames that it is impossible to mount a 104 mm wheel. Is it allowed to file the frame for about 1-1.5 mm (seems pretty little to impact the qualities/properties of the frame) to make it "fit" also for 104 mm wheel, or maybe I just better leave it. Does it influences warranty of the frame?

I've filed Fila 4x100 frames to take 104's. works fine, no observable impact on strength and skates very well.

I would expect to kiss any warranty goodbye, however. No manufacturer is going to warrant non-factory modifications!!!
