July 4th group skate. Members of WAR, Skatersquest, and Rollerquest will be skating the W&OD trail.

"Skate the Washington & Old Dominion Trail (W&OD), starting in Vienna, VA. Meet up at 8:15AM. Leave at 8:30AM. All levels are welcome, skate at your own pace. Target distance is 40 miles, but skate your own distance. We will break up into smaller groups of similar level if needed. We start and end in Vienna, so pick your own half way point and turn around. Bicycles are welcome. Possible lunch get-together after the skate, details will be announced the morning of the skate.

I plan on being there, trying to skate off the early Friday festivities :) I really hope it doesn't rain Friday night. WAR has the Friday night skate followed by fireworks from the Mall and then beer and pizza. Last night it was the WAR Wednesday skate where we went to Bathesda followed by beer and pizza. If you are reading this you probably weren't there, but I still can't stop laughing out loud about ordering the topping "tomato hamburger". You needed to be there and I am easily amused.
