CBAR is a pledge-based bike tour and inline skating event. Open to all cyclists/skaters. There are a variety of route lengths; Saturday: 20, 40, 62.5 or 100 miles & Sunday: 20, 40 or 62.5 miles.

The routes are pretty much dead flat open farmland roads, be prepared for headwinds. And chicken houses..

It's a fully-support ride with SAG wagons and rest stops that have everything from fruit/powergels to sandwichs and pie.

New this year: route changes to improve pavement quality, and even more rest stops.

Start/Finish, lodging, and activities are held at Salisbury University in Salisbury, MD. Routes go through Wicomico, Somerset and Worcester Counties to Assateague Island or along the shorelines.

The purpose of the event is to raise money for lung health education, programs and research in the Atlantic Coast Region (Maryland, Virginia & North Carolina.)

Nothing says "I've built my base" like skating a century in June. The local group put out 15-20 skaters last year, split up between the 40 mi, 100K and 100 mile distances. It's much more of a ultra-long group skate than any kind of race.
