View Full Version : Middle Tennessee area adult skate session

This session has just started up in the last 4 months and has been growing by leaps and bounds....last session the rink had 171 people 18 and up...
the music is mostly 80's and 90's with a mix of everything from Prince and the Sugarhill Gang to Common and Flo-Rida.
now for the important info
Session dates are 4th Sunday nite from 7 till 10
for those not familiar with the middle Tn area Smyrna is about 10 miles east of Nashville on I-24....

forgot to add admission is $8.00 which includes skate rental

hi Edward....I will be at work that weekend...but even if I were off I am not a fan of Crystal Palace...been there twice...the rink is a converted store it has free standing I-beams one for each of the four corners...they are padded so you won't kill yourself if you hit them head on...also they have no center of the floor it is an enclosed stage....I love the people...all of the Rollin Wheels of Memphis folks are great peeps....but haven't skated there in 5 years ....
if you don't head out Sunday night...feel free to come down to Huntsville Alabama...we are now averaging 250 to 300 skaters each Sunday night...

Will do. But you guys are having something there early next year right? I remember talking to Will of the Alabama Dog Pound Skate Club when we were in Atlanta and I think he mentioned something about it.

yes...the Dogg Pound host a very successful weekend skate during Martin Luther King Weekend....they pull in about 500 skaters for the main event from 20 to 25 states...and the host rink has one of the top floors in the south...

we have been having 60 to 80 people each month...
I know there are some Skateloggers in the Nashville area...
would like to see some of you at this Sundays skate....:D
