Hi There!
I was wondering if anyone has tried skating softer metal-hubbed speed wheels outdoors? I was wondering how well a set of something along the lines of a Cham I or Backspin Remix would hold up.

Thanks!

I did with no issues but that was years ago (and lots of pounds lighter) so I couldn't really comment about how well it would work now.

I have some Chams that might work outside, but I don't want to ruin them to find out they don't. :)

Thanks!

I skate my backspin remix and backspin remix lites on the roads and they are holding up great. The lites I think are a bit less bumpy.

I took my Cham2s outside several times and they've held up fine.

As soon as the snow melts, I'll try some Cham IIs outside. Otherwise I will use my old (had 'em since the 80s) outdoor wheels. Note that this year the St. Paul 1/2 Marathon is offering quad divisions, and will do age divisions if enough people sign up. The snow should be gone by August, don'tcha think?

Thank you for the reassurance! I am going to rock a set when the weather gets a little nicer. :)

I took my red Wicked Lips outside for a practice session they've held up fine.
