Ok so here is the latest build.
Plates are size 8 Ultimate III's, which equates to 6 3/4 (about 171mm), Wheels are 70mm Twisters (Black velocity races').
Have just ordered the Bont Hybrid Quad boots (couldn't bring myself to pull the trigger on the Patriots, just look odd). Got them in the Black with Red highlighting and strap.
Weight of the plate, wheels and bearings and dance plugs come in at 840grams. Not sure what the Bonts weight but I would imagine total will be around the 1100gram mark.

Will post completed pictures when the boots arrive.

Where did you get those twisters? I was after some of them a couple of months ago.

Look cool so far.

I got them from Richard about a year ago I suppose. They were not cheap....
I've been sitting on them waiting to use them.
Since they became hard to get I've hardly used my 65 or 70mm VR's either...I'm scared I'll damage them!! Ridiculous!!

When you realize that a 10 mile skate session puts them through about 70,000 revolutions of contact with the ground, it is probably a good idea to cherish those special wheels like the V-Rs and Twisters!!! I sure do.

Yes I agree, but I feel like one of those rich guys that buys a Ferrari and then leaves it in the garage to 'appreciate'!
They are awesome wheels and I should be enjoying them!
