So I've got Revenge plates on my Antiks. I know, I know..... but I'm not skating derby anymore so I'll get by just fine on them.

What I want to know is.... can I fit Khiros or even the Roll Line cushions I have sitting around here? Even though Riedell upgraded the cushions from the crappy white stock ones, the ones that are in there still suck.

I wanna do a little bit o' experimentin' here..... :D

I bet Khiros would fit, because before Riedell put their cushion upgrades out, people were using the nice SG cushions (with some mods? Wiser heads'll chip in).

I think the Powerdyne gummies are the same size as the Sure Grip gummies. Ergo, the Khiros are the same size as the Sure Grip, which probably rules out the Roll Lines. But all this is an "I think so" on top of a "maybe". Listen to me on this one at your own risk. :frown::p:rolleyes:

Seems most cushions fit all the Powerdyne plates.... except the Revenge. I have a small box full of assorted cushions (ex boyfriend had an even worse case of SEDS than I do!) and I pretty much know what is how soft or hard etc.

Revenge has a larger diameter king pin like the Reactor.. So the SG cushions are a very tight fit. On the other hand the Khiro Barrels have a tapered hole and slide on just fine.. Give 'em a go..

Roll Lines need to be sleeved and cut down to fit.. Can be done but the results may not be worth the effort..

When I say fit, I mean correctly, not almost or kinda.. ;)

If you go with khiros, this site had free shipping - http://thelongboardstore.com/bushings/khiro/ The roll-line cushions are some fat little burgers, good for WIP plate replacement cushions.

There's quite a few skateboard shops around here.... surely one of them has Khiros!

You'd be surprised! I struggled to find them. I got them from a specialist board shop in the end. I must have been into about a dozen skate shops before I found them.

Which 'Khiro' bushings would fit onto a new Powerdyne reactor pro ?

I am currently on the Powerdyne reactor purple cushions tightened right down, but want something a bit harder......

There seem to be lots of different variations of cushions. what would fit best ?

Pro line cushions will fit in a reactor and are of much better quality in my opinion than the powerdyne stuff.

I could make ya some out of wood.:biggrin:

Maybe Ultimate III cushions, opened up a little to fit the kingpin. I'll try them on my Pro Line later and doublecheck, as I don't remember if they're an exact fit.

So I finally got my hands on some of the 'hard' blue proline cushions and they are actually softer than the xhard purple powerdyne cushions!:mad::mad:

....If you want hard, Here you go. My sugestion would be to buy these Venom cushios, you only need 2 sets (4 cushions) get 98a if you want ubsurd hard or they have 94a and 91a as well and put them on top (closest to plate) and then use your purple cushions on the bottom (cushion near end of king pin).

I heave meant to write up my feelings on Venom cushions, I am currently running there blue downhill cushions (78a) along with blue SG Super Cones on my royal. These replaced my yellow SG super barrels

Long story short there urethane has awesome rebound, more than SG supers. To me they are a more "progressive" urethane, meaning softer to start turn, but more snap back once you lay them over.

They are also 1mm taller than a SG super cushion, and at least on my royal they make the geometry seem better than they were with SG supers where I felt top cushion was a touch short.

Anyway, if you want hard, and you want quality I am very impressed with the venom urethane.

I don't think those are compatible with the reactor......
