Cushion discussion.....

So I've got Revenge plates on my Antiks. I know, I know..... but I'm not skating derby anymore so I'll get by just fine on them.

What I want to know is.... can I fit Khiros or even the Roll Line cushions I have sitting around here? Even though Riedell upgraded the cushions from the crappy white stock ones, the ones that are in there still suck.

I wanna do a little bit o' experimentin' here..... :D

I bet Khiros would fit, because before Riedell put their cushion upgrades out, people were using the nice SG cushions (with some mods? Wiser heads'll chip in).

I think the Powerdyne gummies are the same size as the Sure Grip gummies. Ergo, the Khiros are the same size as the Sure Grip, which probably rules out the Roll Lines. But all this is an "I think so" on top of a "maybe". Listen to me on this one at your own risk. :frown::p:rolleyes:

Seems most cushions fit all the Powerdyne plates.... except the Revenge. I have a small box full of assorted cushions (ex boyfriend had an even worse case of SEDS than I do!) and I pretty much know what is how soft or hard etc.

Revenge has a larger diameter king pin like the Reactor.. So the SG cushions are a very tight fit. On the other hand the Khiro Barrels have a tapered hole and slide on just fine.. Give 'em a go..

Roll Lines need to be sleeved and cut down to fit.. Can be done but the results may not be worth the effort..

When I say fit, I mean correctly, not almost or kinda.. ;)

You'd be surprised! I struggled to find them. I got them from a specialist board shop in the end. I must have been into about a dozen skate shops before I found them.
