aggressive skaters in New York City ???

rollers only do sessions when they are planned they never just go out to the city cuz it cost money but i skatearound ocean parkway and newkirk ave mostly

im a girl skater living in new york. its so hard to find other rollerbladers, only me and my friend rollerblade but we don't really go to the skatepark cause they're mostly filled with bikers and skateboarders. i skate at south beach, SI skatepark and the one in Bay Ridge. i would like to go to the city but i haven't got a chance yet =[

I say just skate! If other bladers see you out there, they'll join up. Be the trendsetter - that's what NYC is all about.

I still don't get the concept of needing other bladers around, other than having someone to learn from or share tips.

I have never been to a skatepark dominated by bladers, although occasionally (rare, though), there are more bladers than boarders where I go.

oh yeah, what about Riverside. Are they renovating that?

I seriously wish I had some roller friends who were as devoted to the sport as I am.

I met this kid who was about at my skill level, and within 15 minutes, we'd both taught each other a new trick. But then he had to leave, haven't seen him since.

Normally, if I wanna learn something new, I gotta try it all on my own, with no help or prior knowledge.

I also like having someone to tell "You try it first.":D

(i ain't/and i don't). 9 times outta 10 i go out alone and look for gaps and rails and sh*t that i wanna go back to, and stake 'em out in case there's security or some other a$$hole to ruin my fun. if i meet up with somebody, great i'll tell 'em all about the spots i found and possibly go touring with 'em, if not i skate 'till i'm tired and then head home.

Im from NYC and im looking for a group to join. (don;t like solo)
i usually just skate around my block, skate parks is filled with skateboarders...
and going to the city isn't expensive, just $2!

I dnt really care as long as I skate. Its all up 2 u guys. And if not a lot of people are down 4 it. Jus a couple of us meet up

I don't know about aggressive but when you fell like getting on the ice come join us at wollman rink on saturday nights around 6pm.
