Paris Sunday Skate - 10th Anniversary - December 9, 2007

Sunday 9/12/2007 will be the 10th birthday of the "Rando Rollers & coquillages" in Paris, the organizers will try to establish a new record in the Guiness Book!!!!!

Sunday 9/12/2007 For U.S. skaters (who use different notation for dates then Europeans) that is Sunday, December 9, 2007. Zorg, the Rando Rollers and Coquillages Skate is the Paris Sunday afternoon skate, right? Many of our forum visitors know about the Paris Friday Night Skate (http://www.skatelogforum.com/forums/showthread.php?t=4723) but many do NOT know there is also a huge weekly group skating event on Sunday afternoons in Paris. Thanks for letting us know about the 10th anniversary of that skate. I SO wish I could be there with you guys next weekend! Be sure to let us know how many skaters actually participate in the world record attempt.

the Rando Rollers and Coquillages Skate is the Paris Sunday afternoon skate, right?
Yes, it's every Sunday if there is no rain. This one is cool, dedicated to beginners, famillies... with many stop to recollect everybody.
The streets are closed where/when the rando skaters pass by dowtown in Paris, in the main avenues.
It's magic to skate without cars around, with nice sightview too, between some of the main monuments (Eiffel tower, Notre Dame,...).

The Friday Night one is faster, for more advanced skaters.
