This year's London Marathon and Half Marathon event is on Sunday 31st August at Hillingdon Cycle Racing Circuit. registration is open - see http://www.londoninlinemarathon.com/registration.php for details

Going clockwose around the citcuit, there is a short sharp downhill section. sweeping round a tight right hand bend, followed by an equally short sharp uphill section. Quite exciting. Just scissor, sit bck and enjoy the ride
The rest of the course is either flat, or fairly steady downhill or uphill sections - nothing to difficult for an average skater of reasonables fitness
