I am new & bought red speed rays & orange cannibals.
I wanted to have a set for quad speed racing and a set for derby.
wow. !! you were all right. three of the cannibals wobble.
two of the speedrays do as well.
So, would any of you mix them? I actually dig the color combo.
Red & Orange. But, would you mix these wheels?
Thank you,

As long as they are all the same size, there is no problem mixing them at all. People mix them a lot for both speed and derby to get the best combo of roll and grip.
Normally all of the common speed wheels are 62mm so you shouldn't have to worry a lot about the size when mixing them... but lately with the weird quality issues just like the wobble you mentioned, sometimes they are not the advertised size either.

Thank you Rebecca.
I mixed the sets and they are fantastic.
I am trying red left foot top right and bottom left. Then opposite on right foot.
I will tell you I can spin great!!
I am so sorry about your website.
What a massive drag.
Do you think I have any recourse with the wheel companies about these crappy wobblers? The cannibals barely made four. I also made sure to ask for their most recent stock, thinking maybe they were fixing the problems.
Does any one fix wheels? Meaning can you resurface the wheel to fix the wobble?
Well, at least I have a ripping set up now!!! Cost a lot though.
All the best ,

They should replace the wobbly wheels. You should contact whoever you bought them from first to see if they can help you with it & how to go about returning the bad ones, etc. If for some reason they don't help you, contact the wheel companies directly. Sometimes they are a pain to deal with but you can usually get the stuff replaced eventually!
Depending on the severity of the wobble, I know some people have resurfaced wheels to correct it but I haven't seen the results myself so I can't say how well it turned out. The problem is that you're cutting that wheel down so it is smaller, so then you need to cut down all of the good wheels to match the worst one, which just isn't cool with brand new wheels!

Return them for replacement, and don't take "no" for an answer.

I had a set of fubar'd cannibals. The rink owner refused to work with me on getting them fixed. I ended up calling Bravo sports and got them replaced. If you need a contact name at Hyper shoot me a PM.

So I took back 4 cannibals. At first they were resistant. Despite me showing them. So finally the skate shop guy put them on his skates. Ah Ha - I really wanted to shout I told you so.
Anyway - distributor is sending 8 pack and I will try to find 4 good ones.
But I will not buy anymore cannibals.
As far as the Speed Rays, not as bad. I am also not in such a hurry with them.
Might send back two of them. But I am always going to mix sets anyway.
I am seriously thinking of Fusions now. Answers have been getting great reviews here. Just wanted alum. hubs. It is a feel thing you know!
I actually prefer the weight.
What would be two good pushers for the fusions?????? I am thinking 6 & 2.

It has been some time now and I need to correct my position.
Although I had a rough time finding a complete set of cannibals, they are excellent wheels. They have such a smooth roll.
Not very fond of the bearings fitting somewhat loose, but does not seem to effect them with my weight on them.
Speed rays?? hmmm, I love these wheels , but they wear out fast in derby setting. They handle great though.
I am getting Anabolix any day. I plan on mixing with the cannibals.( maybe only 2 at a time. Ala - http://skatelogforum.com/forums/showthread.php?t=5828&highlight=mixing+wheels thread.
I will keep you posted.
