Great idea. What kind of ice were you involved in since every kind of ice sk8ing has a roller parallel.

What should I be looking for in a good quad skate and what should I be avoiding?

The first thing you need to understand is be careful who you target. One thing I have found over they years is how many adults we loose because the counter person @ the ring sold an adult a cheap pair of sk8s. One could get away with that if the adult had never rolled, but if they have in the past they will be able to tell the difference.. That would be bad.

Good for a beginner

Adult or child?? Makes a big difference. So does the style of sk8.

Good for someone more advanced

Same as above, just more pricey. Ya see there is no simple answer... So fill in the blanks and I'll do my best to help ya. Just remember, you can get sk8s all over the internet. The price structure is gonna be tight.
