On Sundays the road along Copacabana Beach and Ipanema Beach is closed to auto traffic and you can skate up and down the beach all day. It is SO fun!

I think my friend Erika Cordeiro might be able to answer questions about a skating event in Brazil. I will contact her and see what I can find out!
