Been skating my normal 8 miles (one 4 mile day) off and on.

Did 15 miles on a road bike at the park last night. Had one more on a bike and 2 skaters behind us. 18-22 mph the whole time.

15 minutes into my session I landed on my right shoulder and everything kinda stopped.

Not sure if it's sprained, dislocated, bruised or what. It hurts like a sumbitch tho. Will be off for the rest of the week it looks like. No pullups or pushups either.

F#*(@!

Took a day off to rest and while still sore, only kept me from doing my handstands.

8.2 mi over lunchtime, hill-climb / Tabata set at the turnaround, 28:33 including 8 traffic stops/slowdowns..... Would be pretty happy if I could maintain that over a marathon distance!

Friday, a solid hour jammin with some skateboarders who were near pro level. It was a gas.
http://runkeeper.com/user/dware/activity/79984145

Took the weekend off, but jumped back into it today with nearly an hour:
http://runkeeper.com/user/dware/activity/80591601

Shoulder is finally healing. It's still sore, but I have full range motion now. I'm going to give it another full week before resuming my pushup/pullup routine. This inactivity is really pissin me off too. At least I can skate!

Hahah speedysktr, well played sir.

Wore it out with an hour and a half and nearly 5 miles in the bowls today.
http://runkeeper.com/user/dware/activity/80741961 (says I burned 1600 cals)

Worked up the courage to try a couple of handstands. The first went well, the second one notsomuch. I might even get to go again tonite. Still, no pullups. Mebbe tomorrow I might try a few guarded ones.

Shoulder is much better! I pulled 100 pullups yesterday. Form suffered, and there was no timing it..... I was just glad to be back in the gym after a 2 week hiatus.

Gonna skate like the devil today!

I didn't finish this post before submitting.
I've been nursing a sore heel for a couple weeks and haven't been
running at all lately. Bummer because I wanted to do a couple half
marathons and a few duathlons this year and the first is less than a
month away.

It was nice. I'm not a runner, but enjoy it from time to time. Especially when I get to share it with my honey.

1h:10m bowl blow out!

Tornados on their way to OKC. Should be here in a few, and they plan to linger clear through tomorrow night. Especially tomorrow night.

Can't skate in a tornader.... that's fer sure.

Stay safe, F2B

got in a nice trail skate today with one of my skaters. It works well because my moderate pace has her strained. She was still sore from the spanking I administered to them at Wednesday practice. I ran the dogshit out of them and it was glorious. I kept out of most of it as I am just worn out this week. We had a 40 minute pace, a 24 minute combo and a 10 minute relay. 74 minutes of bust ass skating during a 2 hour practice is some serious hammering. Other skaters noted soreness and general fatigue on Thursday.

Tornados spun all around us, but we here in OKC only had wind and rain.

Got in a little over an hour at the remote location park:
http://runkeeper.com/user/dware/activity/81799491
Route 66 skatepark. Modular and small, dull and boring. Flat and dry tho.
