HK, I know, I was making a forthwith statement. But ya know, I do all those things as well, literally; and have for years, just like many here. So I'm just looking for a lil respect as well, that's all :-)

But I do see what you're saying from the view that you had of the concept and the way that you're explaining it.

What you are describing to me seems more like balance (which yes, does come into agility).

My take is would be to learn to be agile on wider wheels so then when you go to narrow wheels you would be even more agile.

No, even though it seems that way, the difference between the plates is not as dynamic as skating on a thinner wheel VS. a wider wheel. Now if the plate you where skating on was a wide base Nylon plate as opposed to a bladed alloy plate like the Avenger, then the dynamic is more similar to the wheel concept we've been discussing. Anyway I see what you're saying though.

Ok, lost me there (yeah sorry, I didn't study Rocket Science) I was talking about the action of the Proline vs Avenger, not what they are made out of. According to all the DA45 converts they are more agile BECAUSE OF THE PLATE ACTION.

In any case, a lot of Derby coaches I know personally use this Wheel concept for training and it seems to work great for them and their players.

So are you saying they train on narrow wheels, but bout on wider ones? Because that is what it seems to infer.
And just a friendly word. Try to be a little less condescending in your explanations.

I wasn't making any condescending gestures or remarks toward you Coja, I was just making a general statement. Sorry if you took it that way or it came off like that. Didn't mean for it to be read like that or taken badly, sorry

Despite how it sounds, it means "lets play knifey spooney!, someone brings a knife, and the other person brings a spoon"
same as bringing a knife to a gunfight.

If you can't be bothered to to a bit of research yourself don't be too surprised if others cannot be bothered to do it for you. There are hundreds of threads about wheels on here and a search function. If you can't find the answer you're looking for then ask and maybe be a bit more specific, like what kind of floor you're on, or how advanced you are. Asking which kind of wheels are best for Jammers is like asking how long is a piece of string. Ideally the best kind of wheels will be round ones

You do have the resources. Like salamanda said, this forum has this awesome thing called a search function.... check it out instead of starting yet another redundant thread on "wheelz for newbies, omg!"

Sweetheart, the discussion that went on in this topic has nothing to do with your or your post. it just so happens that it got started on a topic that you posted about. Get off your high horse and go read up on some wheels so you can make an informed decision on your skate equipment.
