Yep, absolutely. Any larger diameter wheel is definitely going to roll faster than a smaller diameter wheel, and a smaller diameter wheel will get up to speed quicker than a larger diameter wheel. I'm going for a set of the Velocity's in 65mm for recreational outdoor session skating. I would never race anything that narrow and that large(personally), but then again if I race outside, I'm rolling a red clear urethane RBT (85A) 62mm x 38mm

First skates I ever rolled with V-R 65mm wheels in 2007. Back then I had too little wheel experience to even know how much better than everything else they were.


Then I did my first carbon fiber all glue mount:


I soon discovered the fraternal twin of the V-R wheels, the RD Twister:


One of the top speed skaters in the nation uses them as his workout wheels on super slick floors

Recreational:
Kryptonics Roadrunner 70mm 78A - for speed training and very rough surfaces
Kryptonics Impulse 58mm 78a - even small diameter nice to skate outdoor on streets
Lazer X Tech Blaze VI from India

70mm 80A - amazing wheels, I love them every day a bit more

I love some of the Lazer stuff. I do find a wear issue with some of them.

I use the Lazer Matrix, but do not think they produce these any more. They are a 70mm wheel 80A duro.
