Back in the Army again. Italics are used in the press for quotation.

No, I was in the Air Force.

Wow...

P.S.--Wait a minute. There must be other violations even in this text. Be right back.

(Wait a minute these rules say I'm in the Marines and walking on eggshells. I shall attempt to keep my posts to a minimum. Thanks.)

Spins, if you want to change any of our forum guidelines, feel free to make suggestions. 1, 2 and 3 are there for legal reasons, but the others were put in place for the benefit of, and in most cases at the request of, our forum visitors.

Rules are meant to be obeyed.

If you don't like the rules or feel you can't obey them, you should elect to no longer participate.

It doesn't get any simpler than that.

And Spins,

Trust me on this one, bud, if an Administrator will allow *ME* to remain on this board for over 100 posts without tossing me into the street, that Admin is extremely relaxed with their rules and regulations.

All this talk about freedom and free speech is nonsense. This is not a publically owned entity. It's a privately owned place paid for by a single person and/or their sponsors. In effect, we are all GUESTS and subject to the smallest whims of the owner of that board. Doesn't like your spelling? You're outta there. Doesn't like the font you chose? BAM! You're history.

In nearly every board I've participated this concept comes up where some of the members do not appreciate being reined in and ORDERED (yes ordered) to follow instructions/rules/commandments/laws/edicts whtaever you want to call them.

The end result is: "Tough. Adios."

No Admin wants to do that because, as has been stated, this place is supposed to "feel like home," but one thing has to be remembered AT ALL TIMES, it is HER home and you are a GUEST in that home, as such, you will not be able to go into her bathroom and leave the toilet seat up when you're done just because you feel like it.

The fact is, there are FAR too few Forum Guidelines on this board in my not so humble opinion.

You all are lucky you don't have a Nazi Administrator riding herd over you. If *I* was the Administrator, I would have banned Spins just for initiating this whining thread.
