Default Dirtbike time

I used to ride them all the time, and can attest to the fact that it is one of the most demanding of all sports. Those motocross guys are f'n machines. You wouldn't think just sitting on a dirtbike and working the throttle would be that much exercise, but it's a killer.

Speaking of which, I picked this up last nite:

Kawasaki KDX220r

Mind numbingly fast. Next stop, the cycle store for Race Boots and full armor.

This one is the 220r, and the guy that sold it to me put a pipe on it, and polished the jug....

Can't wait to throw it around the farm this weekend!

Nice minibike. I used to race ATV motocross. Started on a Honda 300EX and moved up to a 400EX. Did mostly trail riding, and just raced amateur divisions. Occasionally took home a trophy in the open stock division. I miss those days.

Damn those are some mansized machines!

I never was that good. Broke a leg, broke a helmet, RM125 and a KX250 in that order.

I got to test this thing out in the field by my house. I sincerely hope that the grass was what was getting all that traction.

I'm damn near 50. This "minibike" scares the shiit out of me. lol

(pick up a dual carb kawasaki 750SXI jetski at 8am sharp tomorrow. Mwuahahahahh)

Enjoy that Green Meanie you got there, Foot. I raced dirt bikes from Aug. '67 to Aug. '87 and I feel damn lucky I'm still alive and in one piece, LOL. Sometimes I watch helmet cam videos on Youtube (mostly hare scrambles) and I get all pumped up and start thinking...... then I say naw, social security recipients don't heal so fast, I'll just stick to speedskating.
