Default Rollerdome: The Ghost Rink

I was in the area the other day and looking for a local rink. Came across this one:
http://www.rollerdome.com/
(Has a facebook page too)

Phone number didn't work though. Then I found this article:
http://www.conejovalleyguide.com/loc...ober-2010.html

It closed 4 years ago and the website is still up!?! Cue ghostly music.

Kidding aside, it's too bad. Looked like a decent (if a bit run down) rink from youtube videos.

I used to live in the area and was visiting my mom when I decided to go roller skating. I called Rollerdome to get info on session times. Back then, around 1998 they had one public skating session a week. The rest of the time was devoted to hockey for which I was told was the main reason for building this rink. Now wonder they folded.

It begins to look like rinks close where you go.

Keep rollin (please don't close my rinks)
