Default Green New Deal

So AOC submits a fantasy proposal for her green new deal.

It starts with magic smart wires for all homes. The magic wires will get magic electricity from the magic renewable source. ???

Free QUALITY health care for all.
Free college for all, but what would be the point of college when you get
Free universal wage whether you willing or unwilling to work.

This will bring about income equity and racial and social justice for all.
Don't see how it achieves racial justice.
As for social justice, I suppose. We will all be equally F'd.

Lotta folks suffer from feeling like they aren't special. Just a cog in a wheel. That feeling will magnify under socialism. You really are just a cog in the wheel. No praise or advantage for excelling. No punishment for doing poorly. You are just a carbon copy of the guy before you and after you. It truly sucks the soul out of you. But be happy and smile for the Green New Deal.

Good for AOC, I'm in the camp that's using common sense and Science, not the camp that's using Science Fiction (Religion) and misogyny as fodder.

AOC is to young to run for President, pity.

AOC is eating the "lunch" every day of the fools that represent Fox and Brietbart, she's not suffering, she's laughing and dancing.

Why do Republican's cheer the 1 Trillion Tax refund to the 1% of American's that need it the least?

In 2020 that insane tax giveaway will be recinded, what happened in Europe when the Kings and the Church were overthrown (Religion and the 1%'ers) is happening right here, right now, I know Trumptards don't understand, just watch and eventually, reap the benefits of clean air, good wages and medicare for all.

The Trump Syndicate is going to ground, it's getting exposed, it's Russian connections, it's German Banking (via Russia) connections, it's RICO transgressions are all being found and will be presented presently by Mueller and The Democratic party.

Which are fighting Russia for Democracy in America, while the Trumpsters are doing all they can to give America to Russia.

Dropping sanctions and ignoring sanctions imposed by 100% of the Senate and Congress.
Withdrawing from NATO.

Every Russian WHIM is filled by Trump and the TRUMPSTERS, TRUMPTARDS.

Common sense and science huh? I was going to post this here during the week but skipped it. The UN director of climate change was a bit careless with some university professors, thinking they were already "with" them. She let it be known that the whole climate thing was a hoax designed to destabilize and eliminate capitalism. Her words. Make or don't make what you will of that. If you remember I USED to argue heavily for Global Warming. What I will say now is, weather extremes will continue, because for this time frame, famines are predicted, which suggest weather that is less predictable, and include drought periods and flood periods that won't be conducive for crops. As to whether we are the cause of it or not, I really don't give a rip, nor does it really matter. We are going to enter a roller coaster ride of instabilities of all kinds.
One other thing I will say though, the US has no control over anything. We could all drop dead tomorrow, and India, China, and SE Asia will kill the planet without our help, if Climate Change is really on us. The US doing or not doing anything is no longer a factor.

AOC is to young to run for President, pity.

AOC is a nut bag on the order of Charles Manson. Only she isn't going to kill a few people. If followed she would lead us to complete destruction in short order.

AOC is eating the "lunch" every day of the fools that represent Fox and Brietbart, she's not suffering, she's laughing and dancing.

She does nothing of the sort. Tossing word salad at every question is nothing to brag about. Some are so deluded to think she makes any sense. She will likely get a religious following. Cult leader style. That is what she really is. A cult leader personality

Why do Republican's cheer the 1 Trillion Tax refund to the 1% of American's that need it the least?

It was both a bitter and sweet pill all at once. No one, myself included, likes the idea of bowing to them. But it was the smart play. The flip side of the coin was not bowing. If we had not given in, the money they held offshore would have stayed off shore, and eventually have been invested elsewhere. Bowing was the lesser of two evils. We lowered the tax rate, they said, that is reasonable, they bring the money "on shore" it gets taxed at a lower rate. Getting LESS tax is better than getting NO tax. Win. Then the money is invested in manufacturing facilities, producing construction jobs, and the manufacturing jobs that follow, plus all of the supporting jobs that come along with that. That whole "giving tax breaks to the rich" is a great negative political snipe, and technically true, but in reality, giving in was the better path, and the jobs market has been reaping the benefits.

Oh, if the Dems get power, it will be Nazi Germany all over again. Nazi oppression of Jews, Christians and Capitalists will go in full swing. We'll likely end up in Civil War no matter what. Either with us in control and you guys fighting from the bottom, or vice versa. And/or we also start fighting in the wars that will likely start in Europe. Either as the good guys, Nationalists, or the bad guys. You guys will win in the end. I think maybe we hold you off another 5 or 10 years. We'll see. Smile, you boneheads will win eventually. Either within a few year, or maybe 10 years later. It's been prophesied. But when you DO win, LOL, you'll regret it.

The Trump Syndicate is going to ground, it's getting exposed, it's Russian connections, it's German Banking (via Russia) connections, it's RICO transgressions are all being found and will be presented presently by Mueller and The Democratic party.

Reading your posts is like actually watching crazy breath.

Misunderstanding the fact that a redistribution of wealth will be nessessary to combat climate change is silly, pretending that that misunderstanding is reason to not battle climate change is CRAZY.

THE 1% that owns the 99% of wealth will never help battle climate change, hence a redistribution of wealth.

To pretend that the tax cut was good is CRAZY.

The money off shore isn't living in a condo in Moscow, it's invested, it's got loans it's got overhead, it's not reappearing in US banks, the companies that get the tax break aren't using the money to make life easier for it's workers, it's buying back it's stock to increase the wealth of it's owners, the 1%'er's.

The job market is still riding on the back of Obama's work, the job numbers for the last two years are worse then the job numbers of Obama's last two years.

Forgetting that the tax cut is adding one trillion to the deficit each year for the next ten years.....and the murder of ACA (Obamacare) is going to make Americans dig deeper into their pockets, is easy when you pretend life, when you have an imaginary friend that you can pretend will fix the problems that you caused by sheer ignorance, hey, why not pretend that an imaginary diety will pay your bills.

The Dems are the Nazi?

The Proud Boys, a Republican Group have been defunded(paypal closed all their accounts), they are actually NAZI.
THE PARTY TRYING TO DISSOLVE THE FBI AND THE CIA ARE THE NAZI PARTY.
The party breaking the Constitution by closing the southern border are the Nazi party.
The party Aiding and Abetting RUSSIA are the Nazi Party.
The party that embraces the KKK is the Nazi party.
The party that aided and encouraged Russia to change the results of the 16 Presidential election is the Nazi party.
The party that accepted 30 Million dollars of Russian money from the NRA....is the Nazi party.

Seems I have an abundance of patience right now. So here we go. The US CANNOT effect climate change, if it indeed exists, and we are responsible. We have been surpassed, by FAR by other countries that we cannot force to comply with anything. That is the fact.

THE 1% that owns the 99% of wealth will never help battle climate change, hence a redistribution of wealth.

Ahem. YOU are in the 1%. Worldwide, anyone that made over $32k is the 1%. SURPRISE.

To pretend that the tax cut was good is CRAZY.

The tax cut was/is good. We got to tax BILLIONS of dollars that we have been waiting to tax for decades. Combined with the tariffs Trump was threatening to put on goods, these companies brought the money in, and invested in US infrastructure, and US workers. Look up the circulation of money. I won't explain it here. That money is now HERE, circulating. This is how with a tax cut to both business and individuals, the Treasury Dept collected MORE MONEY. That is a hard fact. The tax cut, plus regulation cuts, plus tariff threats brought a lot of business and manufacturing back to the US. It was a massive win. WHY WHY WHY were cities fighting to get Jeff Bezos and Amazon to move to their cities. WHY were they willing to give Amazon, a company that is RICH as sh*t, BILLIONS in incentives? Because it works out on the back end. People making money, paying taxes, and all the ancillary business their presence will bring. When companies invest billions, and do billions of dollars of business, tax collectors smile. The tax break was a massive win.
I don't know what your work background is, nor do I particularly care, but the tax break was great. It will generate massive sales taxes, income taxes and add new business taxes as thing are now being done HERE, not elsewhere.

I mean, I know you hate EVERYTHING Trump. You can still throw the snipe, oh he gave the rich a tax break. Fine. Knock yourself out. But at least understand it is actually a good thing.

Again, the hate word, why so much hate?

Trump is a con artist a grifter, a carnie, and he's chosen to be in bed with Russia because he burned all his financial bridges in the US.

You're delusional about the tax scheme.
The median Republican senator was worth $1.4 million according to Roll Call when the tax cuts were signed into law. Thanks to the Trump tax breaks, millionaires, including these senators, collectively saved an estimated $17.4 billion according to a report from the Joint Committee on Taxation.
At the same time, the Americans they are supposed to represent lost out. It's true that some middle-class folks did see an extra $30 or so on their paycheck each month, which is all good and fine for a Friday pizza night. But the tax cuts have now led the Republican Party to push the other half of their financial boondoggle: Cutting social welfare programs.

The 1%'s are keeping their tax cut money, the other 99% are going to be paying for the tax cut, money isn't an invisible diety, and Trump's tax cut just gave away all the money to the 1%, not to memtion the bill coming due for the Health Care Trump is Trodding on, open your eyes and stop parroting lies.

Yes, but......do you remember why?
Do you remember the last Republican President, the one that left office with a crashing economy, failed wars, banks closing, auto manufacturers failing?

Do you remember who spent eight years repairing the trainwreck?

And now Trump is taking credit for the work of the last Democratic President, while he takes a wrecking ball to the economy, the environment and America's Trade Partners, funny, you're blind to the harm being inflicted but you sure remember the last wrecking ball, you just can't quite remember why, what about Hillary? Bengazi!!!

Everything Trump has ever touched dies.

The 1.5 Trillion tax reduction, the one that was going to kick start every workers dream, the one that was going to bring back all the jobs the Republicans forced offshore, the one that rufus says is good....

Isn't, and the facts are mounting, for example.

The average tax refund from the IRS dropped 8.4 percent in the first week of the 2019 filing season compared to the same period last year, according to agency statistics.

The dip, to $1,865 from $2,035, is an early barometer of the season, which is being watched more closely than usual because it reflects the first full year under the 2017 tax overhaul and comes on the heels of a protracted government shutdown that hit the IRS just as it was gearing up for the annual exercise.

The number of individual tax returns received and processed by the IRS also fell sharply year over year, by 12.4 percent and 25.8 percent, respectively. The data for this year cover Jan. 28 to Feb. 1, matched against Jan. 29 to Feb. 2, 2018.

The data reflect only one week of filing in a process that will last until April 15 for most taxpayers, and refund predictions by tax experts have been all over the map. Morgan Stanley has estimated they will rise by 26 percent, but others are less optimistic.

“There are going to be a lot of unhappy people over the next month,” said Edward Karl, vice president of taxation for the American Institute of CPAs. “Taxpayers want a large refund."

Interesting issue: Bailouts. This is another thing done to sidestep economic pain. I won't comment too much about them, as I never really tracked, or read about their effectiveness, though I think the general consensus is it is a lot of money thrown at a problem, but not good return.

But the Tax cut was all good. I don't know if urlse is literally that stupid, or just being a troll. It has done EXACTLY what it was supposed to. The increase in economic activity has offset, and then some, any economic penalty, IN ONE CYCLE. It will continue to offset any negatives year after year.

Ha, here's Dunning(1/2 of the "Dunning Kruger" tag team here on Skatelog) using the word "Stupid", actually, "Stupid is as Stupid does"

In the field of psychology, the Dunning–Kruger effect is a cognitive bias in which people of low ability have illusory superiority and mistakenly assess their cognitive ability as greater than it is.

The facts about the Tax Giveaway are unfolding, for example,

The average tax refund from the IRS dropped 8.4 percent in the first week of the 2019 filing season compared to the same period last year, according to agency statistics.

People are finding that they are getting much less back then expected, well, the American public that is....while on the other hand...

The median Republican senator was worth $1.4 million according to Roll Call when the tax cuts were signed into law. Thanks to the Trump tax breaks, millionaires, including these senators, collectively saved an estimated $17.4 billion according to a report from the Joint Committee on Taxation.

The rich are just stocking away more money, these are facts.

Rufus cites generalizations, and they are based on Trickle Down Economics, something Regan Championed, and Trickle Down Economics never existed, were proven to be false, the fact is Regans Economics put the economy into a tailspin.

If you repete a lie one thousand times it's still a lie.

Fun Fact....Trump lies 89% of the time he opens his mouth.

Off shore money is not returning, Companies are not spending the money they recieve from the tax break helping the economy, they are buying back stock to increase dividends for their investors.

Money isn't tricling down, it's gushing up, into the hands of the 1%'s.

No coherent reply from ursle. No big.

It was something like 20 years ago I heard about US companies "parking" money offshore. Heard it on 60 minutes. Either Dan Rather or Morley Safer was doing the story. They were interviewing a guy, forget if he was a CEO or what, but he was saying that the US needs to lower the Corporate tax. Businesses had become global, and the US tax was not competitive. He even said that if they lowered the tax, his company and others would be happy to bring the money on shore, pay a lower tax, and re-invest in the us. 20 years ago. So when Trump first started campaigning and he said he would lower the tax to get the money on shore, I said great. Then I learned the money accumulated off shore topped a Trillion, I said WOW. Big payday coming.

I think Trump has done more than just this to improve the economy. But WHAT a GIMME lowering the tax rate was. Over a Trillion WAITING to come on shore. ANY bonehead politician could have done this and reaped the benefits. This was ripe low hanging fruit for the first guy smart enough to take it. So Trump did. Hell, idiot Obama could have mitigated the crash if he had had the sense to do this. But he didn't. Win for Trump, win for the economy.

Facts matter

There are 4 Trillion US Corporation Dollars offshore.
US Corporation's have repatriated 400 Billion dollars.
US Corporations haven't used that 400 Billion to spice up the economy, they've used it to buy back stock.

While in the US.

Some Corporations gave a one time bonus to employees, funny thing is, they get the tax break forever (actually, until the tax giveaway is recinded) got that, the companies that got Trillions in tax relief gave employees a one time bonus, while using the rest of the tax relief to buy back stock.(Wages didn't miracously raise, the average raise was 2 cents an hour)

Don't forget, US workers will pay for the tax breaks the Trump Administration gave to the 1% of America that needs the tax break the least.

Facts Matter.

The median*net worth*of a*senator*was $3.2 million, versus $900,000 for members of the House of Representatives. These are conservative estimates.

Guess your democratic leaders have more if they brought the average up that high....

You site this crap with no definitive information on persons or associated party. It's just information with virtually nothing to show for itself aside from the United states public constantly puts rush people into elected positions.

Indicates, 2012 was the year, as the chart says Republican Party, (btw, both house and senate) it's the republican party, and the chart says the number of people involved, and the chart lists their average wealth, very easy to understand, do you not understand that Republican representatives are all multi millionaires or do you not understand that they all voted for the Tax Bill....which increased their wealth by lowering their taxes from 37% to 21%, got that, Republicans in the house and senate voted for a bill that lowered the tax THEY pay, which is not applicable to the average American.

The bill also lowered the weekly amount the Government Deducts from paychecks, so as to make for more take home pay, "which averages .02cents an hour", but now, average Americans are ALL getting yearly refund checks that are 8% less then they were expecting, because of the fact that weekly deductions were lowered.

There's nothing about the tax bill that is good for anybody but the rich, they just saved Trillions, and the Average American will be paying those Trillions to the Rich.

But hey, 8% less a year in refunds for the taxes the Govt takes out of your weekly pay is good, as good as adding one Trillion a year to the deficit for ten years, remember, the taxes the average american save last for ten years, then stop, accordingly, the deficit will be one Trillion a year for ten years, got that, the miniscule pay raise average Americans get for ten years is what is raising the deficit one Trillion dollars a year, but yes the Tax bill was good, sarcastic smile.

BTW, the rich keep their tax cut forever...
