oh. You can always be a skater sponsor and donate $50 or a $100. They put your name on the t-shirt as a sponsor. Ck your pm. You could be ready for the 38 if you'd actually start skating.

You realize... I've NEVER been any kind of distance skater, ALWAYS a sprinter.
But, remembering my DNF in the first outdoor race still pi$$es me off. Maybe with that in my mind and the encouragement and other advice from you and other fine people on SkateLog, I'll be able to talk myself through longer distances.

This time last year I was just about skating as much as you do - and I did get ready to do A2A.

You have a huge advantage, you know the area and will most likely be fine with the hills and all that.

So come join us and listen to speedy but not exclusively when he talks about A2A, he has skated it a "few" times.

And then do come to FL and skate a marathon to get your legs used to some kind of distance

Everybody bring your girlfriends and wives so I'll have something to do while you're skating

Edit: That wasn't as bad as the "fel#2r" comment from CG, was it? I need a ruling from the president or Goddess Kathie!

You will most likely need a lot of this to...

But why don't you just skate it instead, you can skate right And remember about is downhill (and if that's not true it sounds good...) so that means more than 40 miles were you can just coast - that will be hard to find a valid argument against (and I'm sure you can find an argument, it has to be VALID)

Maybe you could start by dropping the big words like vernacular? When you are trying to get your flow rolling you don't have time for big words like that.

Using 'snap' and 'Oh, snap' is awkward at first, especially when you need to adjust your glasses before you do it, like me. Just hook your thumbs in your front belt loops, throw your shoulders back and let it roll. You too can be a smooth middle-aged dude!

And please give yourself a kick for me, I'm in for the 87 this year. I have a support van lined up and a really dope poncho I'm wearing to the party at tumbler's afterwards. It doesn't show beer stains and doubles as a cape when "Zorro" arrives.
