Got the microwave at a Kayak store in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. It was next to brown kayak that had holes in it lol

Cardboard Boat Regatta... Instant Boat category.

Just show up and they give you (for a small fee) a sheet of cardboard, small amount of duct tape, a few screws, nuts & washers and a sheet of polyethelene film to wrap your creation. You have about 2 hours to make it from scratch. Most folks come up with flimsy boxes that have unstable boyancy distribution. They either fold up and sink or instantly flip over and sink. Those that don't go to Davey Jone's Locker in the 1st 30 seconds are so difficult to paddle forward and keep upright that they cannot make any headway. After a couple seasons I stopped competing to give others the opportunity.
