Default NYC 100K Photos

Hello All,

I was playing around with my camera and took lots of pictures from the race at Prospect Park, Brooklyn.

Nice pictures. Were you the one with the SLR camera near the finish line? I remember someone taking pictures low to the ground similar to the angle some of your pictures appear to be shot at.

I was planning to race on that day but I changed my mind because of the weather. I still came to watch and also took some pictures. I posted them up onto this site.

Some of them are a bit blurry. I didn't get a chance to go through them all and get rid of the bad ones. I'll post some short videos I took a little later .

Yeah, that was me. I don't have an SLR camera though. It is an old Nikon Coolpix 4500 with a telephoto lens accessory. It also takes a wide angle lens which is useful for work - taking architectural shots.

Anyway, like you, I just watched. I did not skate enough this year to race. We'll see about next year.

They drew race numbers for prizes for the non-pros. Unfortunately a few of us in the non-pro 100K distance were still on the course.
