*** The SkateLog Forum Has Been Replaced by SkateDebate Dot Com ***

FROM SKATELOG FORUM HOST KATHIE FRY IN MARCH OF 2020:
This announcement is to let everyone know that after hosting the SkateLog Forum and its predecessors for nearly 20 years, I have decided it is time to permanently turn the forum over to a new owner and administrator. I cannot think of anyone more suitable to take on that role than my SkateLog forum co-host, Florida skater Jessica Wright. I am pleased to announce that Jessica has agreed to establish and host a brand new skating forum, configured like the SkateLog Forum, but with a new name and a new Web Site. This new forum is 100% owned and operated by Jessica.

NEW FORUM NAME: SkateDebate Forum
NEW WEB SITE: SkateDebate.com
NEW OWNER AND ADMINISTRATOR: Jessica Wright

Hi Kath, oo (I just invented that, it's a greeting with a kiss on each cheek) anyway, is there a way to wrap the page listings or condense them like the old forum where you saw 1-3... then the last three current pages. Look at the training log and you'll see what I mean.
more kisses,
speedy

I'm feeling dense here Speedy, but I'm not sure I understand. I looked at the training log but couldn't tell what you are trying to describe. Help please....

Nevermind Speedy, I get it now. The discussion page numbers are disappearing off the right side of the screen. I'll dig into the documentation and try to figure out how to fix that.

JT, You can adjust the number of posts that you see on each page in your User CP. I think the default was 10, or something like that. Changing it to be 40 - 50 per page cuts the number of pages, dramatically.

I have mine set to 40 and see 33 total pages, and the whole page listing is displaying.

This is only a band-aid though, since it'll eventually get to the point where It'll run off the page on me.

Maybe if I set the number of posts per page to 100.......

Speedy, I haven't forgotten about this. I'm still trying to find the parameter that will change the number of page numbers displayed in the navigation bar. I know there is a parameter that can be set, because I've seen it before. Today I will take some time to look through every single setting in vBulletin. There are a ton of them.

OK - fixed! I set number of page numbers to print on either side of the current page number to be "5" instead of "show all page numbers". We can adjust this parameter any time.
