Default New Purchase or upgrade?

What up folks? I am new to the forum. I purchased a pair of Reidell 795 Thrusts. I think they are o.k, but I'm looking for something better.

I am 6'6" 220, size 14 and wondering what to purchase or how to upgrade my skates? Is it worth adding new plates to support my weight?

I need a skate so I can groove on and provides a comfort/smooth ride.

Any ideas/thoughts/comments would be appreciated.

Holla at me..please.
