I think mine are pretty close to the weight of the K2s but most of the weight is in the frame. If you are into freestyle then Xsjado have some that fit but I don't know how light they are.

Nice choice. I have only skated TRS and Remz. But I hear great things about razors. Also nice on the Salomon liners, I hear they are the most comfortable stock liners on the market. It should be a good setup to get you started. But for frames if you had the money i would have gone with the Dual Injections because they slide faster. But you'll do fine with the bullet 8's.

for those of you who say that remz are heavy:

remz (0601, 0602, 0701) weigh about 4.1 pounds per skate
the xsjados (all models) weigh 4.6 pounds
razors (shima and murda 3) weigh 4.5 pounds

The only skates I know of that are lighter than remz are the new deshis, which are about 2.8 pounds

I wear a size 10, so the numbers I posted reflect the mid/upper size range. However, all of the skate brands I mentioned have common shell sizes, so don't expect much (if any) weight difference between a 9 and an 11.

I personally don't think that 4.1 pounds versus 4.5 is even a noticable difference, I'm just trying to point out that most competing skate models are pretty similar when it comes to weight.
