Default Frame tech help! junior 165mm 3x100+

Hi guys,
I really need some advice / info / help. Here in australia we really only have one shop that sells speed gear and they are 2000km away so its really hard to see what limited stuff they have. I am trying to find a 'decent' set of 165mm frames for my son that has a good deck height. He is on J2 bont jets with luigino Z 4x84 frames and to be honest the deck height is a joke (90mm front). I got bored the other day and modified some old 80's Bont super frames to fit 3x110mm and i got the deck height only 5.5m higher (95.5mm front).

Ideally I would prefer him to use some nice new frames but getting advice or REAL info is near impossible here. The local dealer did recommend cado neo transformers and i know they make good stuff but IS there better available out there? I would be really disappointed to buy something that isn't even close to what i can make at home. Price isn't an issue, just looking for something that will work well.

any help greatly appreciated.

cheers
Greg

Oh!!! Did you modify 805 frames?
It is a good idea.

Do you only consider deck height?
Please refer to the following contents.
Please purchase a good product.

wow NDS, thanks so very much for the information, greatly appreciated.
The modified bont frames i made him are ~270mm wb and he is ok with them but would prefer a little shorter if possible. He trained last night on them and is really loving the big wheels and lots of grip, although the older NOS atom 110's are still a bit slippery when pushed hard. He only weighs <45kg so i do need to organize some decent new wheels as well.
