Default Peak Fitness Program

I've been reading about this on Dr. Mercola's web site mercola.com. This program is very interesting and I have decided to start using it. It's very simple and only takes twenty minutes a day two-three times a week. One does not need equipment, it can be done at home or the gym. Basically one does a three minute warm up and then takes it to their anaerobic thershold for 20-30 seconds then walk it out for 90 seconds do this eight times and cool down for two minutes. This type of exercise is designed to activate your growth hormones naturally. There are huge benifits to this, longevity, greater strength and better cardio.

I do this hundreds of times a day at the skatepark. High intensity interval training. HIIT. Burns 5 times as many calories as normal aerobic training.
I go full out, around the bowls as hard as I freakin can for about a minute. Shoot out of the bowl and then roll around the thing for about a minute, then get in there and do it again. An hour a day, every day. I'm here to tell you it works. Lost almost 90lbs this way and totally turned my bad health around.

I've done this before, I just was not aware it was such a benifit for the growth hormones. I will be doing this from now on. I love learning new things.

Hey Stream,

Thanks for the info. I will google it. I have not done it for a while but I used to sprint on skates getting great results. One exercise I currently use is on a heavy bag. Combinations on it for three minutes, resting for one and back at it for three minutes. I do three sets and then go for a run or a skate. Does wonders for the upper body as well.
