Default Forum Question about Uploading Photos

I'm new to the forum and I have a few picture i would like to post but according to the forum I can't post attahments. Can anyone tell me what this means and why i cant post attachments? Thanks!

You need something like Photobucket or Flickr where you can copy the image code. Does that make sense?

I think the reasoning for this is the fact that when you get a big bunch of people saving off photos and attachments they can be very large in size and take up a lot of storage space on the servers they exist on. This particular forum allows you to link to and show photos and documents that live elsewhere (like photobucket or youtube) but won't allow them to live on the Skatelog server... thereby saving digital space and cost. I think its a pretty good deal, everything considered!
