Default The Original "Huggers" wheels?

I have a set of these that I have to locate in the attic somewhere. I just wanted to know if they are considered decent wheels (being "old sock" and all).
I also have a set of green wheels (I can't remember the name, if anyone remembers, PLEASE tell me! ). They came out just after the Huggers they were softer, but good on slick floors. Any help out there?

Thx,

-brian

btw, the green wheels are in the same box as the Huggers and Jim Cooks, I've got find that box!

I think Kryptos came out with colored wheels during that time period but I don't know about green.

I have a set of red Krytos (outdoor wheels). For the life of me I can't remember the name of them and I seem to remember the logos wearing off. Hmmmmm...

Doug,

You're the MAN! That's what they are, Blazers! I remember them being grippy but slow, of course that was against the Huggers and the Jim Cooks (witch I used the kids versions of the JCs because they weren't wide like the adults, less plastic on the floor!) I LOVED THOSE!

Does anybody have an opinion about the Huggers?

I skated on two sets of hugger SLT w/ the 2nd set still on my skates. They were my favorite wheel when I used to skate years ago. This is just my opinion and also I skated on a floor with no coating on it just bare wood, so this may affect my opinion.

I posted a picture of my quads in the "show your skates" forum if anyone is interested in seeing them.

I never saw any of them back then. Just about everybody that I knew was on Labedas. I have seen more references to them on these boards than I think there were sets in all of Southern California.

So......did you find the box?
You can probably sell those bearings for three times what you paid for them.

I just bought a used pair of Grand Prix boots with probe plates and these wheels on them. I bought them for my daughter's boyfriend. I put different plates and wheels on the boots.

Who made these huggers?

Do you have any new outdoor wheels in 100 mm and I may trade you for the fan jets if they are good..

I will call my mother tomorrow and tell her to send them to me then I will take some picks for you.

They will not be here soon and I am leaving for 3 weeks to Turkey for an AEF but if you are patient we may work something out.
