Default Minnesota Half Marathon Results?

Participated in the Minnesota Half Marathon today. Great weather and enjoyed myself for my 3rd time there...HOWEVER, I'm wondering where the complete results are? Since late this morning the results have the winner at a time of 48:54. Nothing against that person's performance but I finished near the lead of the rec group about 8 mins ahead of that time, not to mention the pros. Does anyone know the whereabouts of the results?

It's supposed to be hard. If it were easy everyone would do it. It's the hard that makes it great.

Per usual the timing company screwed up the results. Pretty much all the pro skaters (men and women) are unaccounted for. I think they're still working on it (according to Inline Skate Mpls) but who knows.

But, yes, the race was great. I stuck with the front rec group until the last hill before the turnaround; then my my lack of training caught up with me. It was a perfect day though and I had a ton of fun.

Okay...so there's hope. They might still be working on it. Forgive me for asking, but who/what organization is "Inline Skate Mpls"? I'm not from the Twin Cities or MN area.

And even though I said it before...it's worth saying again...I had a great time! Amazing weather and I always love the atmosphere at this race. I know the majority of the people are runners but collectively it makes for a wonderful environment that's totally worth traveling to.

Now if they could just get the pavement at the first turnaround (under the overpass) smoothed out even just a bit....

Terribly sorry - the site get's linked on this board enough that I just figure people know about it. InlineSkateMPLS is an inline racing site, obviously based in the Twin Cities. The folks that run it post nice race reports and do a pretty good job posting news about racing in the area and around the country.

Results for the Minnesota Half Marathon were updated today (08/03/15). I'd recommend any who participated check the time listed. My time on the results was accurate. However, I noticed at least one participant who I know finished ahead of me was listed with a time of over 1 minute behind me. If you kept track of your own time you may want to double check it. Hopefully they will continue to refine the results and ultimately make them searchable and filtered for age, division, etc.

Kelin and Elias finished in under 34 minutes...new course record by over 1 minute. Those guys are pretty much untouchable at the local races these days.

I wasn't at the race, but I question whether some of the results are accurate as well. Based on the pictures floating around facebook, some of the results don't necessarily add up. For instance, I saw one picture where two skaters were clearly ahead of a third (by maybe 20 feet or more) and the results have all three skaters crossing at the same time. Perhaps, this is because the timing company only reported the results down to the second, but even so, still seems odd that the third skater in the picture wasn't more than a second behind.

Congrats to everyone who skated the race. I love this race as well, but being that I live almost 10 hrs away from every Minnesota / Wisconsin race, I have to pick and choose which races to go to. This is always a hard one to miss...

I'm curious as to the source of the timing error as well as how they've retrieved the information. There are some definite inconsistencies. For example:

My times according to the results page:
Start time: 7:09:10AM - this seems reasonable from what I remember
Finish: 7:49:55AM
Chip time: 40:49 (this matches the time I kept)

Two people I know finished ahead of me show:
Start times of 7:07:56AM - yet we all started on the front of the rec line. Their start times should match mine. If you make their start times match mine, their chip times make sense and move them ahead of me a reasonable amount.

My guess is we're having some gun time vs. chip time issues. I noticed some of the same inconsistencies where several people were shown to have finished in between myself and another guy when I know there should have been one person in there. Personally it doesn't matter to me as I'm not skating competitively these days but I'm sure it could leave some of the higher level skaters a little salty.
