Cool, I'll be waiting.

Meantime, snow, rain, ice, sleet here. Letting my knee heal and trying to get speedy for now!

Hey, since we are talking quads here. Making a set of speed skates out of soccer shoes. Sawing off the rubber cleats. Wow, this is a slow painful process! Any better ideas then a thick tooth saw and patience?

Dremel with drum sander bit. Are the cleats metal?

Sander with really course grit paper. Even a hand sander block would be okay, just slow. You could also find some concrete and rub it on that. I would also say a metal saw would work too.

RD, you have a knack for saying things that could be taken the way I tend to take them. I love it!

How about a cheap iron...melt them off? Outside with ventilation.
Or a hot glue gun?
Or charge into a McDonald's and just run back and set them on the grill?

Do you know anyone who has a band saw? The saw just runs in one direction, that should slice it off pretty good.

How to remove rubber cleats?
  1. a feet 1st space re-entry
  2. hitch rides on passing car bumpers
  3. a stand-up motorcycle trip
  4. paint with carrot juice & get all those killer bunnies to nibble them off

You defi-nibbly need a vice & a belt sander with about a 40 grit paper.
Don't overheat [take your time] or the belt will instantly fill up with melted rubber.

...my RS bunny....lol.

what blade were you usin with that jigsaw, try changin blades... or you could try like a bench grinder, or an angle grinder. or get some metal files. eventually you'll need some very low grit sandpaper, after the cleats are nearly gone, so that the soul is flat..no bumps where cleats used to live... keep away from fire.
