Default Do we want to form a Skatelog team for LeMans 24 hrs?

Well? You know you want to.....

The folks who went to Montreal seemed to enjoy themselves, how about LeMons?

Event web site is: http://www.24rollers.com/
The dates are 11-12 July, about 5 weeks after Montreal.

Some of us were discussing this after the DeFi de Montreal. Things that could get me to cross the pond for French friendliness would be the Paris Friday night skate, Lance in the Tour, and skating 24 hours of LeMans. Unfortunately my interpreter (sister) will be caring for a 1 month old speedskater.

Before DeFi they may have very well told us that at one point the road would turn to dirt/gravel for a few meters, but I don't know French. I laughed and said I hope there wasn't anything important in the pre race anouncements. Of course, I was pulling when we hit that (lack of) road. It was kind of surreal as at first I just thought the road looked funny and then I knew we were in trouble! Amazingly, I think only one person went down.
