Ask DocSk8 (Expert Indoor Skate Building Advice) This forum is different then the other SkateLog forums in that it is not a discussion forum, but rather a place you can ask skate building expert Fred "DocSk8" Benjamin about building and repairing indoor speed, derby, and jamskate quad roller skates. Please start a new thread for each new question.

Default mid price tall boot ideas.

I finally got a pair of 297s on roll line mistral plates.

Now looking for similar style of boot, but for my 7inch sure grip super X plates and atom pulse wheels. These are my spare pair / outdoor pair.

Would like to spend about 150 or so. My feet are wide, so wide boots fit me best. The reidells fit great and are 9.5w

Unless you can find other boots listed as wide, you will not have much luck. The Sure Grip 73s and 93s seem to run wider than most boots, and are about 1/2 the price of the 297 but more @ retail than you are looking to spend. Past that, I don't think there is much I could recommend unless you find some used boots.
