Default Architecture in TV and Cinema

Anyone watching the series 'I Am The Night' on TNT? It is a cable-tv drama loosely based on the real-world "Black Dahlia" mystery.

One of the unsung charactures in the show is the "Sowden" house. As soon as the first seconds of 'the house' in the show hit the screen I knew I needed to look further into the the images.

I've spent time and taken lots of photos of the "Hollyhock" house and tried (without success) to get access to the "Ennis" house... (under "revitalization") in SoCal. Got photos of 'Ennis' from other viewpoints.

HOLY COW!!! What a dramatic home 'Sowden" is.

go to https://sowdenhouse.com and http://ennishouse.com

To be clear hear...the Sowden house was done by Frank Lloyd Wright's son 'Lloyd'... not FLW.

The living space has a lot of drama (understatement of the year). Of the exterior only the 'streetface' is noteworthy.

Anyone here at Skatelog recall "Blade Runner" (1982) and the Ennis house?
