Default Southeast inline skate shops (GA,TN, NC, AL)?

Can anyone recommend a shop with a decent selection of inline skates (high end fitness skates and various speed skates). I hope to do a little shopping in the next 2-3 months and would really like to try on different brands and get some one on one feedback.

There's nothing in Chattanooga, so it'll be a road trip!

Not yet.....but my time is coming Nashville is about an hour and a half from me. I'm thinking that it will be just after the beginning of March before I get out there. Heading to Raleigh, NC the next two weekends kinda kills a Nashville trip.

I've already decided that heading to Asphalt Beach is much better than ordering over the internet. I want to be able to try on a variety of skates and get feedback from the shop in regards to what would be best for me. Besides, I like to support local shops of any sort.

Good thing I'm patient......because the internet store browsing is getting old!!

I see you are all pretty active around Tampa. I should be down there a few times this year. If I get my butt in decent shape, maybe you all could let me tag along.

Thanks for being a curious cat

You are more than welcome to tag along - just let me/us now when you are heading this way and we will set something up!

I live outside of Nashville and I agree that Steve has a great shop and a lot of inventory on hand. He will work with you to make sure you get exactly what you are looking for in an inline skate. You can spend hours there because he has so many different skates you can try on. It's worth the drive.
If you buy a nice pair of speed skates come over to Murfreesboro and check out the Sprinters Speed Team. Lots of kids and adults on the team.
