Smile Article on U.S. Open in USARS Magazine

We had our article finally published in the magazine in the Summer issue on pg. 38 which was recently released. It was fairly complete and pretty much as I submitted it minus a few pictures and the pictures of the winners, which you can see at http://usopeninline.com. The article covers four pages. It was supposed to be in the Spring issue but they were quite overwhelmed with articles and the deadline was 10 days after the Open.

The next Open is tentatively scheduled April 23 - 25, 2010 in the Chicago area. Keep checking the above link. We are finalizing the events. The dances will be somewhat different, but the other events will be pretty much the same. Jeff Higgins has been working hard at getting the dances figured out and the U.S. Inline Figure Skating Board just approved the event, dances and final format.

I will eventually post the full article as I submitted it but I don't want to steal the magazines's thunder. For now you can read the article in the magazine. If you are quite curious and you want to get the article for non-distribution send me an email to my AOL account, which is jkaplenk.
