FROM SKATELOG FORUM HOST KATHIE FRY IN MARCH OF 2020:
This announcement is to let everyone know that after hosting the SkateLog Forum and its predecessors for nearly 20 years, I have decided it is time to permanently turn the forum over to a new owner and administrator. I am pleased to announce that Jessica has agreed to establish and host a brand new skating forum, configured like the SkateLog Forum, but with a new name and a new Web Site. This new forum is 100% owned and operated by Jessica.

How many skaters do you think quad nationals will have that year? This is fantastic.

They better add an extra day for Quads - they will need it.

i do believe there will be a decent turn out in "11" too many quad skaters in the great lakes region not to mention east coast and southern region is closer to Indiana then Nebraska

5 national champs and counting making a comeback via facebook discussions

Default Whilst Browsing YouTube's SportsHub

Hi there, All Roller Speed Skaters & Artistic Roller Skaters.

Whilst browsing YouTube's SportsHub (here) I came across a series of three associated clips promoting the USARS 2011 Nationals for both Roller Speed Skating & Artistic Roller Skating, which (if I understood correctly) are being held in the same venue and may be on the same dates.

Take a look at the three videos in sequence part 1, part 2 & part 3.

Someone has taken some time and quite a bit of commitment to promote this event.

John,
South West Wales, UK.

John, thanks for letting us know about these. Yes, the venues are the same. The dates are consecutive, probably speed first, then artistic. The promotion is being done, I think, by the City (chamber of commerce, more specifically), although the national organization (USARS) also promotes the event. Initially the promotion was done by a local rink. Yes, it's great for all the publicity!

Default Sweet!

That is my rink!!!!!!!!

Most of our skaters were in that video!!!! We spent about 4 hours skating around there and letting them shoot.

Thanks to everyone that worked hard to bring this even to my home town!!!

You couldn't ask for a better place to hold the event. We have 3 rinks within 15 mins of eachother and from the venue.

Now i better get back to training.......2011 will be here before you know it!!!
