Howdy! I have some Rollerblade Twister Pro’s, and since the frame bolts directly to the plastic boot, there seems to be a bit of flex. My understanding is the Seba’s have aluminum heel mounting blocks. I was wondering if they are noticeably more responsive due to this or not. Anybody have experience with both?

Hi Darthblader. I never had a pair of rollerblade twisters (or pros), but I have had Rollerblades and Sebas.
I can imagine that Seba's would definitely last longer (given the material...aluminum vs plastic). As for responsiveness...I'm going to venture that, yes, aluminum would be just a bit more responsive. Mostly though, I think it may be the hard shell of the boot that makes a slalom skate more responsive. I still think that the skater is the most important part of the equation. I can say with 100% certainty that my Seba's have outlasted any other skate I have ever owned. I skate 24/7. If you're thinking about investing, go with the best. Rollerblades are great, Sebas and Powerslide are better for slalom. |
