FROM SKATELOG FORUM HOST KATHIE FRY IN MARCH OF 2020:
This announcement is to let everyone know that after hosting the SkateLog Forum and its predecessors for nearly 20 years, I have decided it is time to permanently turn the forum over to a new owner and administrator. I am pleased to announce that Jessica has agreed to establish and host a brand new skating forum, configured like the SkateLog Forum, but with a new name and a new Web Site. This new forum is 100% owned and operated by Jessica.

NEW FORUM NAME: SkateDebate Forum

I am not from around there, but the rumor I hear is recently repaved, smooth asphalt, with occaisional lumps of excess asphalt on the hill.

I signed up for the regular marathon distance (17-24). I live in Brooklyn and I train there every week. The pavement is very smooth. It was recently repaved a couple years back. The only small problems are the occasional twigs and leaves on the ground from the many trees. From where I start skating, its fairly easy to go through up until you reach the large hill. I find it a bit difficult to get over but after that its downhill from there. Its a great course and I look foward to this marathon as it will be my first . When I get home from work I'll post up some pictures of the course.

I didn't want to race with the wet path but I was still there to watch and take pictures. I posted this link in a similar thread regarding NYC 100k photos. You can check out my pictures at:

It was a pretty cool race. I had to meet up with some people in the city so I didn't get a chance to stick around for the ending. Does anyone have the results?
