. . . starting a new thread to recruit skaters for the FCA Team Endurance team for the 24Hrs Inline in Montreal. This will likely be a team in the recreational division.
If you are interested, visit the FCA Team Endurance web site (http://www.fcaendurance.com) to see the requirements for joining FCA Team Endurance and if still interested, join FCA Team Endurance there and then let me know here that you want to be on the Montreal skate team. Thank you, Don Patton

. . . and in case you didn't already see the other Montreal 24Hrs Inline thread, the dates are August 7 - 8, 2010. The Montreal web site is not up to date but a lot of the basics are available there (http://www.24inline.com/).

Hi Don,
As you know I'm seriously considering Montreal this year with you man. Hey by chance if we can get enough people together that want to enter the fitness division, would you be interested in enlisting us in the fitness division instead of recreation. My wife may want to make the trip with me to montreal but I'm pretty sure she isn't interested in skating, so we wouldn't have to enter the rec division on her account. Hi PSI, I live in the same city as you, actually I think a few minutes away from you. We should get together to skate. Ohh and if we do Montreal together it could be like a 2 man LA chapter ![]() Wayne |

Don - if you enter in the Recreation division and your team does well during the early part of the race, you will be bumped up to the Fitness category anyway. As you know from previous years at Montreal, Rec and Fit teams are somewhat at the mercy of the race organizers.

SQ sent one rec team in 2006 and we got bumped from rec to fitness. No teams got bumped in 2007 but in 2008, our rec team got bumped to fitness and our fitness team got bumped to elite. We had three teams in 2009, none of which got bumped, but other teams were bumped.

Its looking good Don,
I just did some budgetting for 2010 and calculate that I maybe able to realistically do 2 races this year out of California. Probably Squiggy and then Montreal 24 hr. Or me and the wife a long with my parents may just do a one week montreal family vacation. My Dad speaks french and we have visited Montreal before, its a great city. Wayne |

All interested in skating for FCA - whether on the Montreal team or otherwise - check out the requirements at http://www.fcaendurance.com and then if you become a teammate, check out the training gear:
> Short sleeve jerseys: http://valleybikeandski.com/product/...jersey-895.htm > Women's short sleeve jerseys: http://valleybikeandski.com/product/...jersey-898.htm > Warm up jackets: http://valleybikeandski.com/product/...acket-2144.htm > Watter bottles: http://valleybikeandski.com/product/...ottle-2379.htm > Socks: http://valleybikeandski.com/product/...k-guy-1179.htm That's just a sample of what's available.

To post an image, you have to have a link that ends with jpg or bmp or something like that. So I went to the link that you provided, right-clicked on the picture, chose Properties, and copied the file name, which ended with .jpg. THEN, I posted the reply, clicking the little button that looks like a mountain with a sun over it, and pasted the link in the dialog box that popped up. Clicked OK and then Submit, and there it is. If that doesn't make sense, just ask and I'll try to break it down farther.

I was tossing around some ideas myself for a logo, let me know if you want me in on designing. In any case, just make sure the frontal-lower-body region of the suit is black. Not red. Not yellow.
