Skated my 2356th mile year-to-date - the shortest paved distance across the USofA. In other words: I have skated (virtually) across America from Atlantic Beach, Florida to Ocean Beach, California since January 1, 2017.

Not bad at all. But don't stop! You only went shortest route. There is still Portland to Portland and the ultimate coast to coast trek: Anchorage to Key West. Barrow to Key West would be the ultimate trek but there no roads up there.

New York to San Fran is still possible if the weather doesn't screw me too badly. Need about 700 more in 3.5 months. Doable.
Anchorage to Key West...not likely. Maybe next year! Thanks!

November 12th and I only need 50 more miles to skate (virtually) from New York to San Francisco (2906 miles). I am 150miles away from 3000 miles total skating for 2017.

Haha! Good job! Now you can relax until you hit 53 years of age. Woohoo!
I just turned 60. I can still skate 61 by next April no doubt but likely won't. Maybe 30 one day and 31 the next! Congrats! 50s are a good time.
