Default 'International' humor

Please forgive my lengthy set-up to a pretty lame joke. You have to be kind of local to Cedar Rapids, Iowa to get it in full context.

Cedar Rapids has a long standing tradition of being home to a large Czech-Slovak population. Several years ago the National Czech-Slovak Museum and Library was dedicated here (4 Presidents in attendence... 1 current US, 2 past US and current Czech). Right now there is a showing at the Museum of Madeline Albright's pins and broaches. Albright, former Secretary of State who was born in Czechoslovakia in 1939, used pins and broaches to effectively send social and diplomatic messages during meetings and negotiotiations.

Today my wife was talking with one of her clients who happened to be of Czech descent. She asked the client if he'd been to see the "Pins" showing yet. The client replied that he's never been to the Museum... ever.

On hearing that I replied "They ought to take away your Czech membership card... making you a "CANCELED CZECH".

I can see the blank look on her face as you said that, so you actually made a Blank Czech.

Now if you had offended her and she'd left, well it would've been a cancelled Czech.

But having thought it over and having returning to the house, a returned Czech.

And if she said "prosím" would that be Czech Please?

My tongue is buried in my cheek right now.

I really want to work the phrase, "Your mouth is writing Czechs your ass can't cash." but have been unable to successfully do so.

So, I'll Czech to the next poster.

(I did use the spell Czech on this post, go ahead, Czech for yourself.)

So... a hockey team offers monetary incentives to players that are really agressive. One player did exceptionally well against the Czechoslovakian team. In his pay envelop in addition to his regular paycheck he got a Czech checking check. What does he eat for breakfast??? Czech Chex.

I think I've used up my year's alotment of LAME... (and some of next year's alotment as well).
