Default Martin Fiz Skating Marathon (Vitoria - Spain)

Hi all,

Next weekend is the Martin Fiz Skating Marathon, in Vitoria (North of Spain), a beautiful city.

This is one of the most popular skating marathons in Spain (and also one of the most important running marathons too), 42km along the Vitoria city. As always, most of the skaters are inline. I will try to be there in Quads, with a friend, and have a good skating experience there.

If anyone is interested, it would be great to find more quad skaters in Vitoria next weekend.

Guille

Finally we were in the Martín Fiz Skating Marathon last weekend in Vitoria (Spain), the only two quad skaters, unfortunately.

We improved our times. The asphalt is very good there, and there isn't any climb, so our best time last weekend was 1h 36m 45s for 42,5km, according to our GPS (26,4kmh average). I do believe the Orangatang Kegel 80mm 80a wheels helped us to improve, but the most important thing is training (skating and off-skating training).

I wrote a blog post with some pictures for anyone interested in.

Now we are looking to the next Skating Marathon, this time it will at home (Madrid).

Regards,
Guille
