Default Summer drink

A nice vodka, poured over a glass full of crushed ice with a bit of crushed/sliced lime and topped up with ginger beer. Just make sure you have HEAPS on hand. Very addictive

Protein shake that does not suck:

In a large glass:
5 ice cubes,
fill glass with milk to about 3/4 full.

dump ice and milk into blender. blend until ice is crushed.
add one serving/scoop milk chocolate flavored protein powder.
add one tablespoon instant coffee (or increase amount to taste, I use Foldgers decaf).
mix until smooth (less than 30 seconds).

Return to glass and enjoy. I like to drink mine quickly so the crushed ice doesn't have a chance to float to the top.

If you or someone you love is a Starbucks addict, this may be an acceptable substitute. Itís cheaper, itís lower calorie, and the protein is an added plus.

My favorite drink is gin buck, of course.

1 shot of Gordon's gin
juice of half a lemon
half a can of Canada Dry ginger ale

Gently stir and add a few ice cubes. It's the perfect summer drink!

Default Patron tequila

oh you caught me on a night!!!

Patron Silver poured over ice add a mint sprig if want to get fancy.

OR..

Patron Silver in martini shaker with ice...pour into a martini glass and try not to chug it. Top with mint or lime to get fancy schmancy.

Or...

Patron Silver from straight from the bottle.

One I came up with one night, over too many drinks none the less.

The Lionheart;

1 shot Scotch
1 shot Stones green ginger wine
splash of apple juice
squeeze of lemon
topped up with Apple Cider of you choice.

I like the idea of diluting alcohol with more alcohol.
The faithful whisky sour is a favorite too.

Shot of whisky - I prefer Bourbon ie. a Bourbon Sour
squeeze of lemon juice.
dash of sugar syrup
1 egg white
couple of drops of bitters

Shake the bejesus out of it in a mixer with ice.
As you can see I'm very precise with my measurements. Adjust to taste

Default non alcoholic fruit punch

not my idea but its addictive.
i make a habit of not doing this two days in a row as it doesnt tase that good if you have it too often.
50/50 of shweppes pink grapefruit mineral water and ocean spray cranberry and raspberry juice.stick it in a jug then add canned mixed fruit and ice.
the first time you have this is the best by far as i polished a 2 litre jug of pretty quickly.lol

Default The Rattlesnake

1 shot of your favorite bourbon
1 shot of your favorite vodka
1 shot of your favorite blended whiskey (ie Lord Calvert, Seagrams 7 etc)
1 shot of Amaretto
sweet and sour mix (orange + grapefruit juice)
7up or sprite
splash of grenadine

Mix all the ingredients together before adding the grenadine for a cool look, similar to a tequila sunrise, or just go on ahead and mix away if you`re thirsty lol.

The perfect Bloody Mary:
Zing Zang's bloody mary pre mix.
Absolute Peppar Vodka
Couple of dash's of either Louisiana hotsauce, or Tabasco (I like the green Tabasco myself)
Half a shot of kosher dill pickle juice
Celery salt in (and on the edge of glass)
Garnish with a celery and pickle
Ice

Her crazy cousin from south of the border, Bloody Maria:
Zing Zang's bloody mary pre mix.
A can of beer (I used Tecate previously, but any will do including my current GLUTEN FREE version - Redbridge)
A double shot of your favorite tequila (so many choices and it makes so little difference!)
Couple of dash's of either Louisiana hotsauce, or Tabasco (I like the green Tabasco myself)
Half a shot of kosher dill pickle juice
Celery salt in (and on the edge of glass)
Garnish with a big fat roasted mild jalapeno pepper on a toothpick
Ice

So I've got a gluten sensitivity according to the doctor. Zing Zangs (as most of the other bloody mary mixers contain gluten)

Sooooo, I took matters into my own hands and went to target and purchased a juicer and got busy:
6 tomatoes (3 were homegrown, 3 were the hothouse variety)
1lb of organic carrots
8 home grown habanero peppers

Juice the tomatoes and carrots, mix them together. Add habanero juice to taste (EASY DOES IT ON THAT STUFF! Holy hell..... )

Worstershire, garlic and lime, pepper and salt on the rim of the glass, and a couple of table spoons of cocktail onions juice (and a few of the onions too) Garnish with a stick of celery and behold:

Tada!
