Ask DocSk8 (Expert Indoor Skate Building Advice) This forum is different then the other SkateLog forums in that it is not a discussion forum, but rather a place you can ask skate building expert Fred "DocSk8" Benjamin about building and repairing indoor speed, derby, and jamskate quad roller skates. Please start a new thread for each new question.

Default What plate is this?

I have, infact seen many vintage skates my self (most of which are mistakenly 1914 chicagoskates as you know... its just the patent doesnt mean they were made back then)

But this skate caugh my eye today and have never seen anything like it.
I would like to know what they are called , and what year if possible. and If 75 bucks is a reasonable price.

Its a Single action Chicago skate with a ball pivot and a detachable system i have never seen.
It also does NOT have the " patent 1914 " instead " chicago velvet tread roller skate co."
