Ask DocSk8 (Expert Indoor Skate Building Advice) This forum is different then the other SkateLog forums in that it is not a discussion forum, but rather a place you can ask skate building expert Fred "DocSk8" Benjamin about building and repairing indoor speed, derby, and jamskate quad roller skates. Just got a pair of Riedell 297's, with plates that I cannot find any info on... The only marking is "SKATER" along the the center, stamped on the bushing cover, and they have "T. 16" stamped next to the front mounting holes. The plates have adjustable pivot pins, AND cup. The axels are 7mm...i haven't measured the wheelbase yet, but they definitely seem shorter than factory recommendation.
If i knew how to attach a pic, i would!!! Any help is very much appreciated. Also- if I can't get a model, how can I go about finding replacement cushions for my trucks?? Chris Last edited by thisismrjones; October 2nd, 2019 at 11:29 AM. |
