If this is correct, it looks like you may have to wait another year. In the meantime the Twister IIs will be in-stock at Inline Warehouse starting 1/22/08 (or earlier, depending on the size).
Though, on Rollerblade's site, they have a preview of their 2008 line-up with shows the Twister III, so I guess it remains to be seen. |

![]() The new Twister (short frame 245mm, new liner, new wheels) should be available March or April 2008, here in France. I don't know about US stocks... Vinz Rollerblade World Freestyle Team www.vuvankha.com |

Just making sure. It looks kind of like 80 mm in the pic, but I wasn't sure.

Yes these wheels are the new 80mm wheels coming with the new Twisters.
The shell shape is changed : more open for more flexibility It remains light, many holes for refreshing the feet. The plastic is very hard, I still did never see any hole on the slide side. Therefore it needs no pad, just because of plastic quality. Cuff is strong & resistant. (does not brake) The liner is changed : not tested so far Did anyone tested the 2008 model in the US ? |

I called Inlinewarehouse.com to find out when they would be receiving these RB Twister 3's and they told me that from what RB has told them, they would be getting them not this year but next year. If this true and if so, I'm most likely going to pick on the Twister 2's. What I'd like to know is.....would 245mm frames be a lot more maneuverable than 250mm frames?? I'm just looking to skate hard and fast through city streets so maneuverability is important to me.

How big are your feets ?
If you want to skate hard and fast through city streets. 250mm might be better. Actually Freeride skates are more likely to be 250mm & over. More power & still enough maneuverability. It isn't 5 wheels skates. 245mm : It makes a difference for Freestyle Slalom. Actually some slalom skaters are even changing for longer frames when they live the cones and are back to skate in the city. About the Twisters 2008 not going to the US, I am suprised. I didn't know. |

I used to be an aggressive skater a few years ago so I just want a skate that will handle some hard skating along with a few jumps and stairs here and there if need be. No, I don't want to grind rails or anything, I just want a secure boot/skate like my old Rollerblade Lightnings and CI5's. I may even do some cones if I get bored just skating around .Thanks for your feedback Vinz! |

Today, I noticed the official US RollerBlade website only lists the Twister III. I checked just a few days ago and there were only the Twister II Pro. Seems these will be coming out sooner than next year, I hope, and we may also see a price drop on the Twister IIs as a result.

.This questions is for Vinz since he has the Twister 3's and hopefully still checks the board. Do you like the twister 3's over the 2's and is the liner a lot better on the 3's? |

The Twister III has been available over here in the UK for a couple of months now.
As discussed above - most noticeable improvements are: Shorter frame Much better (80mm) wheels Better liner All in all now a very good freedride skate, although I suspect that most Seba wearers won't be trading in any time soon. |
