Default Rollerblade TRS Downtown II Skate Review

First off i'd just like to say that these skates(when broken in) are very smooth and very comfy. I might as well start with the cons of this skate. They are pretty heavy. I went from some Roces(graals) to these, and the difference was shocking. Another problem, only at first, is the cuff around the top of the skate. It really restricts your skating if you haven't broke the skate in. After awhile, the cuff isn't much of a bother. One other con is the liners. I'm not too fond of them personally, but i've learn to deal. I find that they aren't that thick, and you can really feel the impact. Now onto the positives. The grinding is very nice. I was able to lock on fine with those soul tricks. The H block doesn't wear down that easily aswell. Another thing i found great about these skates, the speed. I'm not sure if I just pump harder now, or if its the frames/wheels/bearings, but i have much more speed. Which leeds me to say that the air is nice off those QP's. Wether you are riding flat or freestyle, these skates were well worth the money. If your looking for a nice intermidiate skate, these are a good candidate. If i was to give the Downtown's an overall rating out of 10(10 being the best), i would rate them a good 7/10. Cheers.

Hey, i got mine over the summer. (downtown 2's) They feel so wierd when u first get them. I havent exactly broken them in.... i messed up my ankle right after my dad got them 4 me. lol they feel wierd to grind with. if u just grind one foot with the soul, u get this weird noise and the skate moves...... like up and down. i dont get it./... but i still rate it 8/10 cuz they rock
